A new Newsweek national survey of 1,001 adults (conducted 5/3 through 5/3 by Princeton Survey Research Associates) finds …

Let’s stop right there. 1,001 adults? The poll’s already meaningless. It doesn’t matter what adults think; it matters what registered voters think.

The media is predictably orgasmic over this poll:

A national poll conducted by Newsweek has some disturbing news for the GOP - every one of the top three Democratic presidential candidates beats every one of the main Republican candidates in head-to-head matchups.

If these polls are so reliable, why is that every real candidate hires private polling firms at ridiculous expense to get their own independent results? The question is rhetorical of course: the only people who put stock in media polls are the media themselves. And liberals who need something to talk and blog about.

I see a mistake on this website quoting Jay Severin as a radical independant. He votes republican, supports the GOP. A Bush supporter and campaigning for Mitt Romney.

He is NOT an independant. Please post some honest information about Jimmy Severino. Thanks
